Strawberry Mango Smoothie

Smoothies have been a big deal ever since someone somewhere decided they were healthy, and every summer, there’s a huge spike in the frequency of smoothies.


One could argue that it’s just a food fad like many we’ve seen before, but it’s that way for a good reason: smoothies can both taste good and be healthy. This particular smoothie has strawberries (a good source of vitamin C), mangoes (rich in antioxidants) and half a banana (full of potassium). In addition, the greek yogurt base of the smoothie is high in protein and calcium.


As if you didn’t have enough of a reason to try this smoothie, all you need is a blender and 2 free minutes to make it. Super easy, really filling and totally delicious.



  • ½ cup plain greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup strawberries
  • ⅓ cup frozen mango
  • ½ banana


Blend together all the ingredients on high speed until thick and creamy.

Pour into two glasses and serve cold; this will keep well in the refrigerator for a day or two.

Make sure to use a thick straw, just in case there are still big pieces of fruit in the smoothie that your blender didn’t catch.
